PUCC (P2P Universal Computing Consortium) promotes research and
development of an open P2P/Overlay service platform that seamlessly and
simply connects multiple types of devices, while adhering to international
standards.
PUCC Workshop 2011 in Seoul is valuable not only for PUCC WG members but
also communication protocol engineers and practitioners to discuss the exciting
achievements and innovations in the interdisciplinary areas of M2M applications,
and the distribution of PUCC libraries with API specifications.

The challenges of the environment, sustainable energy, and health are prevalent
the world over. This has led to the increased importance of Environmental
Monitoring using Wide Area Sensor Networks, Intelligent Power Saving through
connected Home Electronic Energy Monitoring, and the great advances in
achieving Healthy Living by using a wide variety of Health Sensor data available
today.
Standardization organizations including ETSI, w3c and OMA have realized that
M2M applications including wide area sensor networks and the Ecological Home
Network are key to achieving their goals. PUCC has made this a priority.
This important discussion will focus on how PUCC provides the solution to the M2M application area.
This one day open workshop is expected to provide an opportunity for
developers across industrial sectors to meet and discuss these ready to
implement, highly effective solutions provided by PUCC. The workshop program
also includes keynote speeches from Korean Japanese, and US companies.
All presentation materials will be available on the PUCC website.
