PUCC’s activities include:

Our services contribute to the business of PUCC members who are the operators of P2P/Overlay network, service providers and the people engaged in development, manufacture, and sales of P2P/Overlay network-related devices and appliances. Currently there are various communication protocols, such as the Internet, mobile network, sensor networks and various types of network in a home.
Open P2P/Overlay should be improved in order to offer high standard of interconnection and advanced applications to various computing systems with adhoc network features. These new technologies must provide users with simpler procedures that allow them to control different types of electronic devices remotely.
Nowadays people use mobile phones, digital cameras, printers, and digital TVs more than PCs. Therefore the PUCC is developing network technologies that enable people to remotely control domestic appliances. Objectives of PUCC R＆D and standardization work are:
